Deniz is a graduate of Bilkent University Performing Arts (1998). Deniz started yoga at her college years, but did not select it as a lifestyle until 2004, when she started teaching at her mothers’ yoga studio, Yogayolu.
She went to India several times to learn yoga from the source, where she also took her first yoga teaching certificate. In order to explore how yoga was interpreted in the western society she worked with various acclaimed instructors in England, Germany, Italy and USA and experienced different styles and their effects. She had her Ashtanga Yoga training with David Swenson in summer 2007 and vedic chanting and basic Sanskrit training in autumn 2007.
For her, the unbearable flow of life is similar to the flow of the body through the asanas. Her own practice and teachings are based on this essence of flow. This practice is called Ashtanga Vinyasa System. Deniz has dedicated herself to Yoga as her way of life where she follows an infinite circle of learning and teaching.
