1. Bullet1/2 cup non dairy milk (not to mix bananas with dairy. Fresh fruits are not supposed to be mixed with dairy products according to Ayurveda)

  2. Bullet3 cups soaked dried fruits (my favorites are dates and raisins)

  3. Bullet1 teaspoon lemon zest

  4. Bullet1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  5. Bullet1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

  6. Bullet1 teaspoon baking powder

  7. Bullet1 vanilla pod

  8. Bullet1.5 cups dry oats

  9. Bullet1.5 large ripe bananas (substitute of eggs)

This recipe is adapted from my neighbor, friend and also student Cigdem Aker’s granola pie recipe. She had made up this recipe especially for me just after my hypoglycemia diet so that I wouldn’t need sugar but still enjoy its sweet taste!

You can also prepare it with carob powder by adding 2 tablespoons of carob powder and 1 orange zest instead of the lemon zest for a more choco taste.

Mix all the ingredients above in a food processor and bake them in a preheated oven at 350℉ (175℃) for around 75 minutes and enjoy!
